The Stony Brook School Photo #1 - The Stony Brook School is a private Christian college preparatory boarding and day school (grades 7-12), distinguished for its academics and set apart by its mission. The 55-acre campus is located 50 miles east of New York City on Long Island's north shore and is home to 460 students from 20 countries and all over the United States.

The Stony Brook School Photo #2 - Founded in 1922 with the motto "Character Before Career," The Stony Brook School seeks to educate students in the matters of the mind, body and heart and to challenge students to become leaders with integrity and virtue. SBS welcomes all students, not just those who identify with the school's Christian mission.

The Stony Brook School Photo #3 - Robotics, Engineering, Innovation & Design (EID) Computer Programming, Computer Science, 3D Modeling & Printing, Circuits & Microcontrollers, are all part of our unparalleled STEM program. Students have partnered with NASA to send an aeroponics system to the International Space Station. The system uses mist generated by circuits to germinate plant seeds.

It exists to challenge young men and women to know Jesus Christ as Lord, to love others as themselves, and to grow in knowledge and skill, in order that they may serve the world through their character and leadership. Distinguished for its academics and set apart by its mission, The Stony Brook School is widely known for its passion for character education. Located on the beautiful north shore of Long Island, the 55-acre campus is home to just over 400 students. Most of our faculty members live on or near campus.
