Our students are surrounded by mentors, advisors, coaches and house staff who only want the best for them and support them on their personal path. Our faculty work with each student, using the right amount of challenge and encouragement to help each student realize what's possible because at TCS students achieve great things when they feel supported.
TCS offers an impressive breadth and depth of academic courses and electives, so you can discover new interests and go deeper into the ones you love. Our educators are experts in their fields, who care about your development and will inspire you to realize all that's possible. Our academic program, modelled on a liberal arts philosophy, is collaborative, rich in discussion and writing-intensive. With over 120 courses offered, students can explore new pathways and concentrate studies in areas of personal interest. In Grades 9 and 10, students participate equally in arts and sciences, while those in Grades 11 and 12 begin to specialize as they plan for university, and many take options from our 17+ Advanced Placement (AP) courses.
